Celebrating JOHN WAYNE an American Hero: John Wayne was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal.  A year later, in 1980, President Jimmy Carter awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor.  Wayne is among only a handful of individuals who have received both the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal.  John Wayne created a huge number of Patriotic American Hero public addresses which will be aired via Youtube during the 4th of July celebration of what it means to be an American.  We will also be playing public domain John Wayne Movies ALL DAY!  John Wayne was also a fequent visitor of Old Town San Clemente. This BBQ Festival is a celebration of American Heroes, John Wayne, Old Town Square San Clemente and the charity of giving back.
