Our rates for service depend on the level of care we are required to provide to take proper care of you or a loved one. At Accessible, providing compassionate care from the heart is not just a slogan but also the foundation that guides us in how we treat every patient. Please call us and we will be happy to discuss the rates for service in your area. - When can you start care?
In most instances we can start care within 24 hours of your request for service. In many cases we can begin care even sooner if necessary. At Accessible we understand that the need for care can come up quickly and we will attempt to respond to a patient or loved ones’ needs immediately. - Will you help me understand what my insurance benefits cover?
You may have insurance policies you purchased many years ago and are unsure of what coverage you have. At Accessible Home Health Care we will call your insurance company to verify all your policy information. Simply call us, by answering a few questions, we will be happy to call and get you the information you need from your insurance company to ensure you receive the benefits you are entitled to. - Will you bill my insurance company directly?
Yes, Accessible Home Health Care accepts “Assignment of Insurance Benefits”. This means we will bill your insurance company and have them pay us directly. This means our patients and/or loved ones have less out of pocket expenses. - Will Medicare pay for a home health aide?
Medicare only pays for a home health aide if the patient is receiving “skilled” services as well. In most instances Medicare will not pay for a home health aide as a stand-alone service. If you have other questions regarding what Medicare will pay for when it comes to home health, please call us to discuss. - How do I pay for service?
Private Pay: Either check or all major credit cards
Insurance: We accept most long term care insurance policies and most major insurance policies
Medicare: We or our home health care partners can bill for Medicare services
Medicaid: We or our home health care partners can bill for most Medicaid programs - How does billing work?
Every week we send out an invoice to you, your loved one or your insurance company. - Do I have to pay the caregiver directly?
No, you never pay a caregiver for services directly. Accessible Home Health Care handles all caregiver pay. It is never your responsibility to pay the caregiver. - Am I signing a contract for services?
No, you are going to sign an agreement, which states that you only pay for services that you incurred. Accessible never will bill a patient for services they have not received. At no point will any Accessible patient be forced to use services. At Accessible, we only bill for the services we provide. - Can we meet the caregiver before we start services?
Of course! If there is enough time, Accessible would encourage you to have a “Meet and Greet” with several caregivers so you can choose the person that best suits your needs. - Why should I use a medical and non-medical company instead of a non-medical only company?
As patients care needs grows, so will the need for direct hands on care. Accessible is both a medical and non-medical company, designed to meet a patients care needs whether they are minimal to very complicated. - Why shouldn’t I hire my own aide directly?
Hiring a caregiver on your own can be a very scary endeavor and may cause unnecessary financial and personal risks for the patient and family. Do they really have the proper experience? How do you do a background check? What if they cannot make it to work? When you work with Accessible Home Health Care, you know that all our caregivers have been through our “AccessEdge”© system, which includes a 28 point background check, have a minimum of two years’ experience and have been extensively interviewed. Accessible Home Health Care always has an “on-call” list of caregivers available in the event of an emergency. Our Commitment is to never have a patient go without service.
